1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using SubVail, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the platform.
2. Description of Service
SubVail provides a scheduling platform that connects substitute teachers with schools. Substitutes can broadcast availability and receive booking requests. Schools can view available substitutes and send booking requests. We do not guarantee that a booking request will be accepted or that a substitute will be available.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including but not limited to: providing false availability information, harassing other users, attempting to circumvent connection security, or using the service for any unlawful purpose. Schools are responsible for verifying substitute qualifications independently.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Schools subscribe to SubVail on a population-based pricing tier. A 14-day free trial is available. Paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us through the Contact page for billing inquiries.
6. Limitation of Liability
SubVail is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to uncovered classrooms or missed booking opportunities.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
